A Korean certified immigration lawyer Kim, Yae Jin has recently been successful on F-6 VISA issuance for her previous client's wife.

The Korean Consul initially rejected her VISA issuance due to the following reasons : (1) her Korean husband acquired a Korean citizenship and 3 years has not been passed; (2) the minimum yearly income requirement is not met.

However, he did not acquire a Korean citizenship as a spouse of Korean. 3-year ban is applied to a person who is naturalized as a spouse of Korean. Hence, he is allowed to invite his foreign spouse within 3 years from the date he was naturalized. Korean Consul misunderstood. He has no record of previous marriage with Korean before.

Also, he met the minimum yearly income, but Korean Consul misunderstood.
