Foreign-Invested Enterprises

A foreign-invested enterprise is classified as such under the Foreign Investment Promotion Act when a foreign individual or foreign corporation owns at least 100 million KRW in a domestic corporation (limited companies or stock companies) with a foreign investment ratio of at least 10%. Foreign-invested enterprises are eligible for tax benefits under the Act on Restriction on Special Cases Concerning Taxation.
